The product
- What is Plantaera?
- A plant-based, food-grade wash made for fruit and vegetables. It lifts the everyday residues left behind on produce after handling, transport and storage.
- What's in it?
- A short list of food-grade, plant-derived fats and surfactants, natural Australian lemon myrtle and lemon oil. No preservatives, sulphates, phosphates, SLS, BPA, benzoates, parabens or dyes.
- Is it safe for the whole family?
- Yes. Plantaera is made with food-grade ingredients and designed for everyday use.
Using it
- How do I use it?
Bowl method
Add 1 pump to a bowl of cool water. Add your fruit and vegetables, soak for 30–60 seconds, gently agitate, then rinse with clean water and pat dry.
Sink method
Half-fill a clean sink with cool water and add 2–3 pumps of Plantaera. Add your fruit and vegetables, soak for 30–60 seconds, gently agitate, then rinse with clean water and pat dry.
- How much should I use?
- 1 pump per litre of water is enough for most batches.
- How many washes does one bottle do?
- Roughly 150 — about 17 cents per wash. The 240 mL bottle is a concentrate, so a little goes a long way.
